Lake District Mountain Photography
Have you ever wanted to get great photographs in the mountains but felt you either weren’t sure of a good place to go or not confident in your own ability to navigate & stay safe in the mountains?
I can take you on a full or half day walk in the Lake District. Due to my 30+ yrs knowledge of exploring the hills, mountains and valleys of the area, I can take to you to some excellent locations to make the most of the time we have. We will get to some iconic locations as well as some that are not so well known.
I will also teach you some of the skills which may enable you to continue safe hill walking techniques. This can including basic navigation skills, equipment you should & could take with you.
In relation to the photography, the time can be tailored to your requirements and the level of photography knowledge you have. I have numerous awards and commendations for my photography. I will spend time making sure you get some good images (not taking images myself)
I have years of mountain experience both in the UK and abroad, backed up by a Mountain leader certificate and emergency first aid certificate.
Half days cost £85 per person, no more than three clients, (partners, friends etc booking together will qualify for a 20% discount)
Full days cost £160 per person, no more than three clients, (partners, friends etc booking together will qualify for a 20% discount)
Full or half days (day of the week/time of day etc) will be arranged to fit in with the clients requirements. In the event of ‘terrible’ weather I reserve the right to re-arrange with the client an alternative day/time.

Just a short note to say what a fantastic two days I had with you.
Thanks so much for taking me out and putting up with the gentle pace and all the falling over. Thoroughly enjoyed it and especially the day on Hardknott, which ranks as one of my best days out in the Lakes. I must go back some other season. Loved it so much and so much more to do up there.

Paul - Friday morning - 2.00am alarm, up and off to The Lake District for a sunrise shoot. The only glmpse of sun we saw was about 5.30am over Helvelyn then the fog and mist set in. Sadly the light wasn't any good all day. It was a challenging day and glad that we’ve got some worthy images out of it . Thanks again for your time and expertise.
Trevor - Cracking day in Borrowdale yesterday on an Ade Gidney Landscape Workshop. Good opportunity to work in less than perfect lighting conditions. Time well spent and I learnt a lot - including never trust the weather forecast
